Q. What are the benefits of booking a holiday villa as opposed to a hotel room?
A. Holiday Villa rentals offer much more privacy, flexibility and comfort as opposed to hotel rooms. Booking a holiday villa is also cheaper for the same quality of standard as a hotel room, as the prices quoted are per villa and not per person, hence avoiding unnecessary supplements, which are usually imposed by hotels.

Q. How Do I make a Booking?
A.
You can submit a request form for a specific property or send us an email on info@heliosholidayvillas.com , where we will in turn offer you suitable alternatives according to your requirements. Alternatively, you may also contact us on +357 26 945070.

In order for a booking to be secure a 30% (non refundable) deposit is required in order to secure your reservation. The funds must be cleared into our account and in turn our official booking confirmation will be issued.

Q. What is your payment and cancellation policy?
A.
The balance of your holiday must be received at least one month prior to your arrival. In the case where a last minute booking is made, then full payment must be made at the time of booking.
In the event of cancellation, no refund is made, therefore it is highly recommended that you take out Travel Insurance which is inclusive of accommodation cancellation.

Q. How is a payment made?
A. Payment can be made by Cheque, Cash or Bank Transfer

Q. Are the rates mentioned, per person or per Villa?
A.
All rates quoted are per Villa per night unless otherwise mentioned

Q. In which currency are your rates quoted?
A.
All rates quoted are in EURO. Where we provide the UK Pound equivalent, this exchange will only be indicative. We suggest for an up to date exchange rate, you refer to the link on our "rates" page, or go to www.xe.com for today's rates.

Q. What is the minimum length of stay?
A.
A minimum duration of 3 nights is required.

Q. What are the check in and check-out times?
A.
Access to villas and village houses will be after 3pm to allow for cleaning and have to be vacated by 11am on day of departure unless otherwise agreed by us in writing.

Q. Is a car required?
A.
We strongly recommend that guests reserve a car, as sometimes the property may not be within walking distance of resort amenities. Car hire can be arranged with us via a reputable local company at very competitive rates

Q. Are towels and linen provided?
A.
Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided at all of our properties. We advise however, that you bring your own towels for pool/beach use as these are not provided. The villas towels are only for use inside the property and are not to be used outdoors, on the sun beds, or at the beach. Towels and linen are usually changed at the end of 7 days unless otherwise stated.

Q What is the electricity voltage?
A.
The voltage is the same as in the UK - 240 volts, with 3-pin plug sockets.

Q How often is the villa cleaned?
A.
Unless otherwise stated, all of our properties are cleaned prior to arrival and then again after 7 days

Q. Are your villa Star Ratings similar to those given to hotels?
A.
Our Star Ratings are based not only on the quality and facilities of the villa, but also the location, privacy and views. They are purely to give a guide to compare with our other villas and are not the same grading as used by hotels.

Q. Are Visas Required?
A.
Visas are not required for EC passport holders although a full passport valid for at least 3 months from your date of return is required. If you do not hold an EC Passport, or require any further Visa information, we recommend that you contact the Cyprus High Commission (Tel: 0207 499 8272), before you book your villa, to check whether a visa is required in your case. More information on this matter can also be found on our website
